FR#186 UCA Design Night

  • Fruitworks Canterbury, England United Kingdom (map)

Join us on Thursday for an experiment in design as performance as students from the School of Design at the University of the Creative Arts (UCA) take over the Free Range space, creating an immersive array of installations and performances.

Illustrations from a children’s book about a trip to the moon are recreated with a live synthesizer soundtrack, alongside live drawing with improvising musicians, animation as scores for performance and audience-made hand-drawn films.

This recent partnership between the University of the Creative Arts and Free Range led to the redesign of our logo and website by student Ole Henriksen.

Check out his website and the video he made for Free Range: https://ole.graphics/ || https://vimeo.com/269085936

These are extraordinary student artists. Join us and let's see what they have n store for us!
