This Thursday (8th March 2018) at 7.30pm, Free Range presents the extraordinary French/Australian drummer and percussionist Will Guthrie as part of his European tour.

The review site Tiny Mix Tapes said of Guthrie’s solo album Sticks and Stones: ‘I’m in awe of this record ... the musicianship, the sheer muscular intelligence of Will Guthrie’s technique, the raw immediacy of 40 minutes spent engrossed with nothing but a man and his drums’.

The opening set will feature Sam Bailey playing amplified prepared piano.

On Wednesday 7th March Will is playing at Cafe Oto in Dalston, London. Entry is £10. Come and see him play at Free Range for free.

This event was originally advertised as featuring WIll alongside experimental multi-instrumentalist L'ocelle Mare. Unfortunately, L'ocelle Mare will not be performing this evening (or on any of the tour dates) due to ill health.
