FR#217 Free Range Orchestra with Evan Parker

  • Colyer-Fergusson Hall Gulbenkian Canterbury, England, CT2 7NB United Kingdom (map)

The Free Range Orchestra is a collective of musicians, dancers and poets with a shared love of improvisation and experimentation. Their performances combine the uncompromisingly anarchic with a celebration of creativity and community.

They’ve performed at the Turner Contemporary, University of the Creative Arts and Extinction Rebellion events. Their most recent performance sees them on the beach improvising with the full moon as part of Folkestone Triennial (see LUNAR for more details https://www.facebook.com/events/321857442954875?ref=newsfeed).

During lockdown the orchestra have been rehearsing in the Colyer-Fergusson Hall. To celebrate their time in this beautiful space they’ve invited renowned saxophonist Evan Parker to join them for a concert of improvised music.
