Free Range presents an experimental orchestra improvising music to animations projected all around the space (floor and ceiling) with live drawing, dance, poetry and costumes.

It has been 100 years since the Bauhaus art school was founded. The Free Range Orchestra – a 20-piece collective of musicians, dancers and poets – joins forces with students from the University of the Creative Arts to celebrate the Bauhaus with animated scores, costumes, choreography and installations inspired by the spirit of the pioneering art school. Anyone who came to the UCA takeover of Free Range last year will know that this is going to be a spectacular event.

The Free Range Orchestra will perform again from 2-5pm on Friday 1st November at UCA's Canterbury campus as part of the culmination of a week of events, workshops and exhibitions celebrating the Bauhaus school.
