On 2014 the Elliot Galvin Trio won the European Young Jazz Artist of the Year Award and released their debut album ‘Dreamland’ to rave reviews: ‘audaciously accomplished’ (Guardian) ‘one of the strongest debuts that I’ve heard from a UK artist in a long while…extremely bold and progressive’ (BBC radio 3). In 2018 their album The Influencing Machine was album of the year in both Downbeat Magazine and Jazzwise.

In 2019 they recorded their new album Modern Times direct to vinyl in one continuous take with no intermediate recording or mixing. This use of pre-digital technology in our age can be heard as a statement of confidence, honesty and ‘making something analogue as a quiet form of protest’ (Eliot Galvin).
