At 7.30pm on Thursday 13th December the Zone poetry collective, in association with Free Range, is proud to present the poet Lila Matsumoto reading alongside performances from the Free Range Orchestra.
Lila Matsumoto is a poet whose publications include Urn & Drum (Shearsman, 2018), Soft Troika (If a Leaf Falls Press, 2016) and Allegories from my Kitchen (Sad Press, 2015). She teaches poetry at University of Nottingham and co-runs the poetry magazine Front Horse.
The Free Range Orchestra is a collective of musicians, dancers and poets with a shared love of improvisation and experimentation. Their performances combine the uncompromisingly anarchic with a celebration of creativity and community. The perfect antidote to any seasonal frustrations.
